  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning

  • 1 small onion (grated)
  • ½ cup corn kernels (canned, fresh, or frozen)
  • ½ cup lump crab meat
  • Oil, for frying (vegetable or canola oil)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and grated onion until combined.
  3. Add Jiffy mix, flour, Old Bay seasoning, and salt; stir until combined.
  4. Gently fold in corn kernels and lump crab meat.
