  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add milk and egg; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños until smooth.
  5. Press half of the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan. Spread the jalapeño cheese mixture on top, then cover with remaining meat mixture.
  6. Brush barbecue sauce over the top.
  7. Bake for about 1 hour or until cooked through (internal temp reaches 160°F/70°C).
  8. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
