  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples (about 3 medium)
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the flour until the mixture becomes crumbly. Press two-thirds of this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread over the crust.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
