  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 15 ounces Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 12 ounces Evaporated Milk
  • 14 ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 6 ounces Whole Milk
  • 8 ounces Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes. In another bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and optional cinnamon.
  5. Poke holes in the cooled cake using a fork or skewer and pour the milk mixture evenly over it; let soak.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least for four hours.
  7. Before serving, whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form; spread over the cake.
