  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup pistachio butter
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast. In another bowl, whisk together warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Combine both mixtures to form a soft dough.
  2. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread pistachio butter evenly on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  4. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Allow to rise again for about 30 minutes before baking.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
