  • 3/4 cup patriotic sprinkles
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • More sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with baking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Gradually add egg whites in batches.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth. Alternately mix in dry ingredients and sour cream until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the patriotic sprinkles.
