  • 2 ripe mangos (peeled & diced)
  • 23 habanero peppers (stemmed & seeded)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped habaneros; sauté until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes).
  2. Transfer the mixture to a blender along with diced mango, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the blended mixture back into the saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey or vinegar as desired.
  5. Allow to cool before transferring to jars; store in the refrigerator for up to 7–10 days.
