  • 24 black olives
  • 6 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons dried chives
  • 1 medium cucumber

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, chopped green onions, and salt to taste. Mix until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a piping tool or a Ziploc bag with one corner snipped off.
  3. Pipe the cream cheese mixture generously onto each cucumber slice.
  4. Top each cucumber bite with a whole black olive for the spider body. Slice remaining olives in half lengthwise and cut those halves into four small slices for legs.
  5. Arrange four leg pieces on each side of the whole olive to complete each spider design.
  6. Serve immediately or chill before serving for enhanced flavor.
