  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (for frosting)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free, for frosting)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for frosting)
  • 35 tablespoons eggnog (for frosting)
  • 12 tablespoons cornstarch (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and eggnog.
  4. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for about 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
