  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cajun spices to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat and brown the steak strips for about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet with another tbsp of butter until fragrant.
  4. Return steak to the skillet with garlic, add cooked pasta and remaining butter, pouring in reserved pasta water gradually while stirring.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy; season with Cajun spices before serving.
