  4. Halve each apple, remove the core, and slice into 1/8-inch thick pieces.
  5. Toss apple slices with lemon juice in a bowl.
  6. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and coat apple slices evenly.
  7. Microwave apple slices for about 2 minutes until pliable; strain excess liquid.
  8. Create apple roses by overlapping slices and rolling them up; place in the center of your cinnamon roll spiral.
